What Is Dropshipping

Usually running a business selling products has meant lots of research, sourcing, then buying lots of stock in bulk and storing until you have hopefully sold it, which puts this out of reach for most people as it can be very expensive at the start. However, drop shipping means you do not have to actually buy or store any stock whatsoever. You register with a legitimate wholesale drop ship company and find a product that you want to sell, you then advertise the product using photos supplied and when it sells you contact the drop ship company and give them the buyers details and the wholesale cost of the item plus postage and then they will post the item to your customer, whatever is left over is your profit.

1. You establish an account as a retailer with the Drop Ship Wholesale Supplier.

2. You receive images and descriptions of the products you want to sell from the Drop Shipper and post them on, lets say, eBay.

3. A customer finds your product and buys it for $100 plus your shipping fee

4. You contact your drop shipper with the order and your customers name and address.

5. Your drop shipper sends out the item direct to your customer with your details on the package.

6. Your drop shipper charges you the wholesale price, lets say, $55, plus shipping.

7. Your customer gets his item delivered direct to his door, and is happy!

That's it in a nutshell, you have made $45 (-$5 eBay fees) that's $40 profit off one item.
